CHECK THE EXACT PRODUCT

Start with the pack.

Match the barcode, then check the product, pack size and evidence. A barcode identifies a product; it does not certify it as halal.

Supports GTIN-8, UPC-12, EAN-13 and GTIN-14. Keep any leading zeros.

Three checks before you buy

  1. Same product, same pack. Match the brand, flavour, size and country of manufacture.
  2. Read the evidence. Look for the halal scope, certifier and certificate expiry.
  3. Check what changed. A different recipe, supplier or EST number needs another review.

Halal Food Circle ADMIN

Care behind every claim.

CLARITY COMES FIRST

Understand your food find.

Halal Food Circle helps you discover restaurants, dishes and groceries. A listing is a starting point; its badge tells you which evidence is currently supported.

Five honest evidence states

Halal certified: a reviewer has checked a certificate for the named branch or exact product. The issuer, certificate identifier, scope and expiry are available in the listing. Expired or disputed evidence loses the certified badge.

Community verified: at least 10 distinct eligible accounts have current, reviewed acknowledgements for the same listing. This is community evidence and does not create halal certification.

Community reported: one or more members have acknowledged the listing as halal. The count includes pending reports and does not mean each report has been approved.

Business declared: an attributable business or product statement supports the claim. It is not a reviewed current certificate.

Under review: evidence is incomplete, stale or disputed. We do not infer halal status from a venue name, cuisine or menu photo.

Acknowledgements and concerns

Share what you checked, your observation date and any connection to the business. One current acknowledgement is counted per signed-in account and exact listing. Acknowledgements expire after 180 days. Affiliated reports may be retained but cannot contribute to the 10-account threshold.

Reviewers check evidence and independence before an acknowledgement becomes eligible. Copying the same claim does not make it independent. Open concerns put the listing under review and stop community promotion until resolved. Admins can pause automatic community verification.

Recognition for useful contributions

Each approved finding earns 10 points. Pending, rejected and withdrawn submissions earn none. Acknowledgement volume does not earn leaderboard points. Public participation is optional and uses your chosen display name. Your approval rate shows reviewed outcomes, not religious authority.

Your location and privacy

Live location starts only when you choose it. Your coordinates stay in browser memory for that session and are not stored in your account. Stop sharing at any time. Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, which receives requests for the viewed area. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL.

Account details, saves and submissions are stored for your account. Evidence attachments are restricted to their contributor and authorised administrators. The public leaderboard never exposes email addresses. Sign-in for this release uses ChatGPT.

Grocery entries do not establish live local stock or certify an entire retailer. Check the exact pack and manufacturer label. Restaurant scope can differ by branch, supplier, dish and preparation method.

MAKE A MEAL OF IT

Current deals.

Check the venue, dates and terms before you redeem. A promotion does not change a listing’s halal evidence.

FROM PACK TO PROCESSOR

Look up an EST number.

Find the establishment behind a meat label. Its number identifies a facility; it does not certify the pack as halal.

Check the evidence status. Establishment registration does not establish halal certification. Check the exact product, production scope and current certificate with the supplier.

Register snapshot checked 20 September 2026. This combines the existing register snapshot and imported research. It is not a complete national meat or poultry register. No match does not mean not halal.
